Wiring Loom

Post by MontyMorris68 »

Evening all,
Does someone please have a picture or diagram of a full wiring loom they could send me or point me in the right direction were I can find one. I have come across a black and white illustration but I was looking for a colour illustrated one.
Thanks in advance.

Have you seen the diagram posted in the electrical section, if not it’s under topics. 3rd post down. Give it time to load.

Hi,
I used the black and white wiring diagram in the workshop manual.
Section N: Page N.22: At the bottom there is a numerical key to the cable colours, which you can cross reference to the wiring diagram relating to your model.
I used a highlighter to highlight the parts name (headlamp, sidelamp, dynamo etc.) and the colour number (different colour highlighter),
I then found the diagram easy to cross reference.
Good luck with your rewire.
Best wishes,
Mike.

As Mike has pointed out the manual diagram is easy to follow. The diagram I posted is for a 1098cc Minor so it should be ok for a 68 model.
