Flasher Issues

Post by bloodyank »

Hi, all!
I have a 65 Traveller.
My flasher unit works fine, but the green indicator light on the stalk only flashes for one direction, although the lights do flash on that side.
Flasher is a replacement, wonder if I need a genuine oem unit or ...??
Hope the question is clear.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
If the indicators themselves work then you probably have a dodgy indicator stalk, I have had trouble with them in the past, like everything else they get old and wear out.
Obviously check your wiring connections first but if they are all okay then buy a replacement stalk and fit it.
The two links below are for the same unit but you might want to check out the wiring colour codes on the Mini one, it is cheaper but not enough to be worth any grief getting it connected up the right way.
Best wishes,
Mike.
