Hi is there a diagram of the horn assembly rather than jamming it in and hoping its correct please

I don’t think the horn is a serviceable part, if that’s what you mean.

Hi no its popped out so need to know which was to set the metal band with the small fingers as I guess there is one way for it to sit

Hi it is just the red horn push the metal ring and spring.It look like the metal ring has small fingers the would go in a certain position to hold the red horn push in place

I would guess our friend is referring to the earlier type but who knows. We have not been given a great deal of information to go on :-?

I was referring to the parts here.The circular chrome piece that surrouds the red horn push has small fingers on the underside.Just wondering if the are meant to fit in a particular way

That is the later type of horn push. The chromed rim will only fit in one position. It has a cut out which has to line up with a piece of plastic on the retainer. It cannot be fitted incorrectly and every part has to be aligned. You cannot do it without removing the horn push of course.
