One of these should give an idea of the level of protection you have.

Does anyone use waterless coolant and if not why

I've never seen the point of it. If you've got an over heating problem it's an engine issue or the cooling system at fault - not the type of coolant.

Have a read of this

I usually buy 5 litres of concentrated blue antifreeze (online) and mix it in an empty container 50/50.
Works for me. :D
Best wishes,
Mike.

Ditto.
50/50 for corrosion protection.

Surely you'd get more answers if you said 'and if so, why?'?!

I just don't see the point, given the expense. No issues with cooling on any of the Minors I've ever owned, and no issues with corrosion or freezing either using the correct mix of standard anti freeze.

There are a lot of videos on the internet that will show you how to do it.

Hi,
The subject of waterless coolant has been covered in detail before, below are a couple of links for you to read through, if you wish.
Best wishes,
Mike.

As said above it's no better for cooling (infact slightly worse) so yes it won't boil over or boil locally inside the engine but it should not be getting that hot in the first place anyway. The major benefit is in it's corrosion inhibition properties particularly in mixed metal engines, for that reason(4 grand for new cylinder head) I am about to put it in my Elan but I would not consider it for the minor or my rover V8 cars.
