Can anyone help me find a locking Chrome Petrol cap for my 1957 Minor 1000?

I dont think the chrome ones are produced any more and the specialists only keep the black ones, and sometimes new old stock ones come up on ebay, so its probably just a matter of keeping an eye out.

I picked up one on EBay last week - not cheap though at £16.50 but I had been looking for one for several weeks.

I've a black locking filler cap on my black Traveller and it looks fine. I do prefer the shiny version though.

I got chrome one for my Traveller on ebay a couple of years ago. It was very nice with a similar size and shape to the original, but 2nd hand it cost me £20+ (incl postage)
It took me a while looking for one under £15, so eventually I paid a bit more :o (very out of character  but the Traveller was worth it)

Dan silly I know but did you take the locking ring of the Traveller fuel filler as well as the petrol cap as they are normally in two sections.
