Re: Austin Minor???
Yes they did is the short answer! Austin badged Minors with wavy front slats were made towards the end of the LCV's production. But others will come along and explain in more detail I am sure!

Re: Austin Minor???
When the A35 van was discontinued BMC needed an Austin van, brand loyalty etc, so they simply stuck a few Austin bits on a Morris Minor van.
"Badge Engineering" was popular at BMC/BLMC/BL etc Austin/Morris/Wolseley/MG/Van den Plas 1100/1300 etc.

Re: Austin Minor???
Just to confirm the existence of Austin Minors, here's ours. I was looking to buy a Traveller when this one came up and we've owned it for about a year now. By the way, does anyone know of any other XJU ... J reg survivors? I saw one on eBay in December, which was a very near number to ours, but don't know where it went to. It a dark blue Traveller for restoration. Our van lived in the Leicester area all its working life.[frame][/frame]
