AN AID TO DATING TRIPLEX GLASS
The TRIPLEX mark may have a dot above the name,
A dot above the T indicates the glass was made in January, February or March.
A dot above the R indicates the glass was made in April, May or June.
A dot above the E indicates the glass was made in July, August or September.
A dot above the X indicates the glass was made in October, November or December.
The TOUGHENED mark may have a dot below.
No dot indicates the glass was made at the beginning of the decade, 1950, 1960, ETC.
A dot below the T indicates the glass was made in the 1st year of the decade. For example 1951
A dot below the O indicates the glass was made in the 2nd year of the decade. For example 1952
A dot below the U indicates the glass was made in the 3rd year of the decade. For example 1953
A dot below the G indicates the glass was made in the 4th year of the decade. For example 1954
A dot below the H indicates the glass was made in the 5th year of the decade. For example 1955
