Petrol cap filler pipe
Is there a seal where the petrol filler pipe passes through the bodywork? On my saloon there is 1/32" gap all round and obviously water can pass through in to the boot area.

Take a look at ESM. Part number FUL138. Saloon filler pipe sleeve... is that what you're missing perhaps...?

That's the part on a saloon, just pushes into the hole along with the pipe. I put some black silicon around mine as well before pushing it in, which if you then wipe round the outside neatly looks very good, and stops one source of water getting in.

Thanks to all who helped. A seal is on order. At least another water ingress point is sealed!!
