Not a scrap yard, abandoned in a yard

Post by dp »

Spotted this opposite a gym where go. I can't take on a project but I'm happy to pop in and ask questions if anyone is interested.

If so what questions should I ask?

Oh the location is Leigh on Sea (Southend on Sea) not London, I haven't updated my own location will do that now. I might pop in next time I am there and see what the story is. I could just see that the right rear wing sill area had that hole that isn't a good sign but couldn't get that close.

We saw this today as we drove down Progress Road. Its been there for a few years, I think they used to drive about in it as we used to see it parked out the front of the boat repair place where it now sits out the back.

It would be good to see it saved, but I have my doubts.

Like Sie 1970, I too remember this car parked out the front - it doesn't seem that long ago! I drove past it yesterday, looks very down at heel these days.

Drove down Progress Road at the weekend and the car has gone, hope it's gone to a good home, but I very much doubt it.
