I have panel-beat the living daylights out of these ones, only to find that they are not a matched pair. One has an inner edge that is straight for the outer 50% whilst the other has a continuous curve. Which is correct and does anyone have a pic? Wanna swop your spare one for one of mine?

Not sure what spares i have for the rear bumper, but i'm pretty sure that last time i looked for someone on here i only had the one complete bumper that i am keeping for a spare for the other 2 lowlights, but i will look again to see if i have any half valances.
Not quite sure what you mean about the straight/curve though?
The bumper was the one that came with the car when i got it and i never looked closley when i fitted it as it was already assembled and i just wanted to get it on the road and drive it!

It is the section of the valence that is closest to the bootlid. It has an upwards bent lip and follows the contour of the rear edge of the bootlid and the rear wings which have a curve on them but one side has a different profile. I'll try and photo it to explain better. Not hard to cut-n-shut but I don't know which profile is correct. The 2 valence halves seem to have come from the same era or even were made like this. You don't notice until they are laid one on top of the other.

PS Got any bonnet hinges in reasonable condition or do you know where we can get some? Also, a glovebox release assembly that isn't rusty.

Bonnet hinges are a definate no i'm afraid but i'm sure i can help out with the glovebox catch. I'll have a look and let you know!

If bonnet hinges are stopping you getting the car back on the road I believe M1000 hinges will fit until you track down the correct ones.
Sorry I don't know of any at the moment but I will keep a look out.

I think I have some spare M1000 bonnet hinges. I'd have to check if I have a pair though but I'm sure I have if any use?

I know I've got 2 off my white 2 door, it won't be needing them ;)

(By the way, the car Rob is talking of (if its the tourer?) already has the short type hinges fitted, they are just very badly pitted!)

Hi Ive just bought a new pair of the correct bonet hinges from ESM spares. Wasnt in luck with the boot hinges though im having to use minor 1000ones till I get mine re plated.
