The ANF wheel studs were replaced by the UNF wheel studs so expect for only UNF wheel studs to be available.

Where BSF threads ever used on very early Minor wheel studs / combined nuts.
Whilst the wksp manual makes no reference to the use of BSF threads it does state that BSF/ANF/UNF are not interchangeable. :-?

No evidence that I can see of BSF on the Austin axle, but who knows???

Studs shown are a fixed part number from chassis numbers circa 228000. Nut (ACA7060) seems to have been constant from there on.

Interestingly, from the same chassis numbers there is shown a spring inside the dust cap that is required if a radio is fitted to remove the static between wheel and chassis. Never seen one!

Original bolt from 1948 is 127923, change at about chassis 130000 to 102436.

Many thanks for the information.
Reading the workshop manual the original thread was ANF American National Fine and the later ones UNF Unified National Fine.

There is a schematic in the workshop manual and it shows

ANF...............rounded bottom male threads with flat peak and female threads with flat peak and flat bottom.

UNF...............rounded bottom male threads with rounded peak and female threads with flat peak and rounded bottoms.

They are virtually the same except for the above.
