I bought all new components for my rear lights on my MM apart from the plinths. When I went to fit them, the new rubbers (Plinth to wing ) seem too small. Has any one else had this problem?
My plinths also don't seem to follow the curve of the wings I've fitted,so I'm starting to doubt they are Minor components - despite them being taken from wings I got as spares.
Here's some pics (don't look if you're a purist ):

Re: Rear Lights
I have original wings and lamp bases and they dont fit very snugly, if you are that worried can you reprofile the base to the wing ( take a file to it ??) , also if anyone knows how to stop the corrosion coming back on the cast bases let me know please .

Re: Rear Lights
Cheers folks. That kind of puts my mind at rest, so I'll reprofile plinths to fit. The quality of so called repro parts is getting beyond a joke. These will be the second items I'll have sent back to ESM of late (bumpers being the first).
