A decent condition gear knob is about as easy to find as rocking horse poo and the chances of anyone parting with one is as likely as you getting a free trip to the space station.
One of these days I will get around to having some made.

Hi, I cant tell if it is round from the photo (like a snooker ball)? If so I may have one spare. The locking nut in the one I have is seperate though? Not sure if that makes any difference. Do you know what thread it is as I wouldnt be able to tell based on the photograph? I will take a photo of the one I have later this evening to see if its any good to you. :P

I was starting a rebuild from my own, but my time machine does not start ;)[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
It is possible to make a batch from 100, or more, I need only the information from the insert, to make him as original as possible.
I still have found a manufacturer.

The last photos are of a Series 11 gearknob not an MM one. Morris 8 Series E had a gearknob same shape as the MM but made of bakelite (?) rather than rubber so didnt perish but they are probably just as hard to find as the correct MM ones.

I thought the first (pictures) of a gear knob was for an MM and the second (pictures) were for Series ll 803cc type 1953- 1956?

I got this one together with my '51 MM, but like to know if there are more pictures available, to be sure.

Hi
The second series of pictures are definitely the series 11 knob and ESM have these in stock, complete with the embossed gear positions and shape similar to the photos.
