Double wire radiator hose clip size

Post by peteatreat »

Hi
Please could I have the sizes for the original type double wire clips that secure both the top and bottom hoses to the radiator on my Lowlight. I understand that there is not a great amount of adjustment on these unlike the jubilee clips, so I want to be as precise as possible.
Thank you.

Pete
I bought from HCL Fasteners Ltd and their ref is DWS-053. The only small problem is their minimum order.
Look all the details up on their website www.hcl-clamping.co.uk. I got x13 for the MOQ
The next size up is not quite small enough (don't ask!)
Not only are they correct but I think they also give a better clamp than standard jubilee clips. Mine sealed a thermostat probe under the top hose without trying to get sealer in there and no PTFE tape either. Jubilee clips had failed in this application, just couldn't get them tight enough.
Thinking about it I now have 9 spares of this size???
