It's a lowlight, however it's definitely not a '48. It's got the body moulding 'strip' (that's what I call it anyway) where the roof joins the back of the car above the boot. The colour is also later, probably mist green by the picture of the dashboard.

A nice find but not much in the way of a description, hope it finds a good home...

That registration number was issued in late 1950.

Could not see anything from the front, I only know a lot is changed in that time, and without the bonnet visible it is never for sure the wings should be the original.
I also have a pair of lowlight wings laying in my '51 MM, but mine is a long bonnet.
Between October '50 and January '51 all is changed, bonnet, wings, bumpers, windscreen wiper, so with more pictures the date is easier to find.
It looks like a split bumper is on one of the pictures, and a passenger wiper is visible: RHD#72985 RHD - passenger windscreen wiper fitted as standard, so this one looks newer

Not on my records yet. Early engine block so I would guess 1950.

I spoke to the person needs total resto...no paperwork either,the head has been lost,along with various other parts,'taken apart yrs ago...
