SMM 91167 fits in with the spec sequence of the early 1951high headlights, but still early short bonnet model MM, which this is. Your body numbers would confirm this.
Engine number looks to have been replaced by a rebuild date stamp.

Looks like a re-stamped number after the revision.[frame]Image[/frame]

Hi guys
When the motor is removed the original engine number will be found stamped on the rear flange that the gearbox bolts to.

Took a rubbing of the nmp plate, definitely z12101. Can't read the other side.
So before i get a certificate from bmhit can someone confirm i've got this right?

Body no. BMT19505 (is this the same as chassis no.?)
Body code. Z12101
VIN. SMM91167

Not found engine number yet, but i dont want to pull engine out untill i've put some strength back into sills, inner wings not as bad as i thought.

Thanks
Dan

While i'm waiting for some panels to arrive, i've turned my attention to the clock. Glass was missing, the hands had come off and was very rusty on the outside so was preparing myself for the worse....[frame]Image[/frame]

Internals look like new?[frame]Image[/frame]
