Brake lights
Hi guys, sorry to ask again but I am having problems with brake lights on my '52. Overhauled brakes and hydraulics and new brake switch. The brake lights are on as the ignition is switched on. Any ideas please? Thanks, John.

Re: Brake lights
I suspect that you have a faulty new switch. Do the brake lights go out when you disconnect one of the wires?
Plug hole with old switch whilst testing
Remove switch and connect wires to terminals, brake lights should not operate.
Connect wires together, brake lights should operate
Check connections for any bare wires

Re: Brake lights
Measure the switch resistance, when he is a few Ohm's, something is wrong.
After taking out the switch, measure again.
It is possible there is still a little pressure in the pipe, what the switch can activate...
In that case, check if the brake pedal is coming back complete.

Re: Brake lights
Well guys it turned out to be the floor pan preventing brake pedal returning properly! Adjusted master cylinder push rod and all in fine.Cheers mates.
