I have a 1949 mm
Going to have to replace roof lining
On stripping out the old one the centre roof section is plywood the two side sections are the same material as door cards like flexible card
Should they all be plywood ?

Re: Roof lining boards
They can be either. I've got 1 car with ply centre and cardboard side pieces, and another with all ply. No idea of what year things changed, or if they just used what was lying around.
I made up paper templates and a few folk have replicated them out of ply successfully.

Re: Roof lining boards
I wasn't after originality, but you should be able to get material from the likes of woolies:

Re: Roof lining boards
I think there are different materials of headlining depending on the year of car. I've got to replace mine on my '50 and was going to use some of the material like this:ian.mcdougall wrote:Hi
