These are from my 52 Morris. I assume they're from under the dashboard. Have no idea what they're for.
some kind of paperboard material with metal brackets attached with rivets.

Nope. You've beaten me with that one.
The paint on one of them looks a bit like Thames Blue. I can only think of 2 places on the Minor where there are 2 bolts that close to each other, being the top outer edge of the front panel and the bottom of the rear corner of the front wing. I can't think what they would be doing there, though.

That looks a lot like asbestos to me, and in that condition it could well be giving off fibres if moved. Wear a dust mask and bag them up securely until you have a positive ID for these parts.

I,m in Canada,will send photos soon. Was sure they came from the interior. They were in a box with all interior parts.

I do believe they are asbestos. If they went on the outside of the car, the metal brackets would be covered in rust. This leads me to assume they come from inside the car.
