You mean the 2 short pieces of chromed brass? Difficult to find. I had to make a pair a couple of years ago.

I used a couple of .270 WinMag rifle casings and beat them into shape. Getting them chromed was a fiver although I could have zinc plated them at home (Hot water and zinc nails with Caustic Soda) and then polished up.

Best bet is to find your own ones, but if you get stuck and the Club can't find you any then let me know and I'll see if I can get some more ammo.

I've just pulled a pair of these from a scrap low light. They are no use for my 49, are they any good for the someone to take patterns from?

For anyone still needing these chrome clips, please see my suggestion made recently under "Wanted" and the discussion string relating to "Searching for the holy grail of MM parts!"

When I next tidy my shed, I must look in my old tool box which is right at the back - I seem to remember I have a pair of these somewhere from 30+ years ago. I also have a SII Morris Minor bonnet badge somewhere. If/when I find them I'll list them.
