side window, is this an original?

I found this one in a group of parts...
The top is different to my actual one, he does not have the chrome hinge on top, but a welded hinge.
Is this a 1949 version, or a special one?

Looks like a Lowlight (48/49) but with a new handle at the bottom with e screw holding it.

Mine is a '51, so I do not need him.
In that case, who is missing one?
I can get him with me with the next trip to the UK ;)

My MM is June 51 and has that type of quarter light.

Hi TvdWerf,

Yes this looks just perfect for my 1949 low light. I'm missing one and in need of a replacement quarter light for the passenger side (refer photo). Note the extensive corrosion damage which is probably beyond repair. My own post (MM Quarter Light Repair) has been running for sometime now and Rob Thomas and myself have been discussing alternative solutions. The one you have looks good but as Rob pointed out it should have the half moon style catch (I have my original catch). Welcome your feedback. Regards......spike
