'Barn find' Series MM on ebay

Thought this maybe of interest to somebody. The asking price seems a bit steep. Description says 'side valve 803cc'. Pictures definitely show a side valve engine. :)

1953? Hole in the floor plates and a cut-out crossmember with later damper mounts. Still a nice find.

I'd be tempted if I wasn't skint since I have a brand new leather Newton interior that would fit it beautifully...

Does anyone want to buy it for me for Christmas? :D

I was tempted to make more inquiries but I don't think I'd ever have enough money to complete it. :( Space and skills (or lack thereof) would probably be issues too

It looks quite a sound car bodily doesn't it. A seized engine, wrong interior and missing its original registration all make it too expensive in my view. The cost of restoration would be much more than the cost of buying a decent example in the first place - they are not particularly valuable cars are they. Let us hope that somebody does take it on though.
