Hi.
I need to replace all 13 head studs and after some research, I believe I need 4 x long 80mm-Morris part no. X17207, 5 x medium 73mm - part no. X15020 and 4 x short 64mm - part no. X15568. Firstly, please could I have confirmation that these are correct. Thanks.
Secondly, a well known supplier has them for sale at £9.54 each and probably plus postage. This seems very expensive to me. Does anyone know if they can be sourced elsewhere or if someone may have a set for sale.
Thank you
Pete.

I'll see what I can find. I have sets for the ALTA but not the normal SV. Much better studs are available for much less money, if you are ready to spend time.
Meanwhile, do you happen to have the exact dimensions of the stud length and thread length on each? A photo with the studs next to a ruler would suffice.

....andddd....30 seconds later we have...

High Tensile studs with necked-down centre sections so not an exact copy, but it'll get you where you want to go and you'll not have one snapping off in the head. The threads are rolled instead of cut with a die so are much better. Cut threads (with a Die) are prone to snapping in the root of the threads.

Hi Rob
Thank you for your reply. I don't have a stud to measure for you as yesterday snapped one off! Aborted attempting the rest just in case. Will now seek help on way forward now. The Morris Register studs look much more attractive so I will make some enquiries. If you do have some spare at the lengths mentioned in my post, please let me know.
Thanks again for your suggestions.

No probs. Factory one seem to be cut thread, hence your snapped stud. Get rolled threads, if you can.
