MM engine numbers

For what it's worth, following up on MM engine numbers. This is Paul in Yuma, Arizona and I am restoring a 1952 MM, built in December of '52, this car is amazingly original with the generator, starter, wiper motor to name a few, having the original date stamps of 12 52 on them and so I am very confident in saying that the engine numbers and their location are absolutely original. The engine number of 174055 is on the original ID plate, the brass disc attached to the engine and stamped into the top of the block just behind the water pump, perhaps things were modified as production went along but that's were they are on my engine, photos attached (I hope) manlyvaleaussie
