What color is the emblem blue or red. I have found 2 pics with 2 different colors?

I would bet a certain amount of money it's blue. I've never seen a red-painted boot emblem on any Minor.

Bottom pic is correct. Top pic is an Indian pot-metal repro that is best avoided. I ended up with French Blue Humbrol but it was an old tin. Not sure if it is still available

Oxford Blue which is really appropriate as Oxford is the home of Morris.

Thanks for the link, Oxford blue looks like a match and seems more likely given the origins of Morris, plus at that price you can't argue, so I've just bought a tin.
However, being an unrepentant tight git I'm hoping it lasts ages.....................

Just to chuck something into the works... Basil may not have the original boot lid or badge after all these years, but although the bonnet badge is indeed coloured in blue, the boot badge is without any.

Probably worn away after all these years - mine is similar, but a little blue still left on it.................
