Does anyone have a Smiths glove box clock that is just for parts, specifically I'm looking for the solenoid as per the attached picture, I don't care what condition the rest of the clock is in or just the solenoid will be fine.
Thanks,
Paul Follett

Hi
I had the same problem as yourself i thought it was the coil ,i bought a smaller smiths clock that although smaller in size had the same size electro magnet but it turned out to be the moving contact that makes and breaks as clock is working was broken .
ebay site for moving contact, they still have some left
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USED-Smiths- ... 2749.l2649
picture of clock that had same electro magnet, similar smiths sized clocks would do, pot luck if coil is OK or not .
