Series MM Brake Cylinders

Post by HarryMango »

Forgive me for entering the hallowed MM section but my brakes are MM type even if my car isn't. (Early S11)

I am in need of a front RH Brake Cylinder - Does anyone know where these are available at a reasonable price. I seem to recall someone making some with a stainless steel liner - any more details please.

Series MM Brakes

Post by mike.perry »

The early Series II cars were indeed fitted with Series MM brakes. Try club spares. Try GPA Engineering, tel 01625 527062 for reconditioning pistons. Alternatively, fit 803/948 backplates and pistons with Series MM drums.
