Welcome "rjoyce".

By your car#, it's definitely a 1949 model.

All lowlights (as yours should be) have the short bonnet with smaller bonnet hinges - I assume this is what you are referring to.

I'm not sure about the dip in the windscreen though.
Do you mean there's a dip in the centre of one of the flat glass panels ?
I hope you're not referring to the actual split screen itself  .

It sounds like quite a collection you have. It's good to see another Series MM enthusiast :D .
Any chance of some photos ?

I have a picture:

But a better quality one would be better.

rjoyce, is there any chance that you could e-mail me a picture of the rear lights as a reference shot? You can e-mail it to cam.shaw@mmoc.org.uk

Thanks. :D

How about getting in contact with the National Morris Minor Owners Club? If you have a copy of Minor Matters magazine the contact details are in there.

Just out of interest though. How come you have hundreds of Minors to sell to the UK?

When my family went to Sril Lanka to visit my grandparents we found that most of the cars were RHD, and they 'techincally' drove on the left *grins*

I love Sri Lanka, it's beautiful, but the driving made an impression of insanity at age 5, so it must have been quite something.
