The words have all gone small!

Help! On my screen the letters are real small - capitals are now only 1/10 of an inch high - and I have to get close to read anything clearly. Its a real pain! It came about when our cat "Faggots" leapt upon the keyboard and pressed several at once while I was on this site minding my own business. Bit of a shock at the time. Any clues how to make the letters bigger? (Plain english much preferred.)

Hold the "ctrl" key down and roll the mouse wheel or press the "+ / -" keys (again with "ctrl" held down.

Note that on a Mac this does something different - CTRL and scroll-up magnifies the whole screen, then as you move the mouse it pans around the magnified area.
