Great-Grandfather's Ride
Hi,
Recently uncovered photo evidence indicates I may not be the first in the family to be into cars after all. A great-great-uncle with what I believe is a Morris Oxford MO and a great-grandfather with something that looks pretty special to my eye. Can anybody identify it?

Photo 2 looks like a Riley 9 Lincock made approx between 1932 & 1934.

I think they were just slightly different bodies all using the same running gear.

Re: Great-Grandfather's Ride
Do you think they would accept a trade-in on my Traveller at £36,000?

Note the two brake adjusting knobs just behind the gear stick. Brakes both foot and handbrake could be adjusted on the move

Re: Great-Grandfather's Ride
The 1948 Wolseley owned by my father and in which I learnt to drive had hydraulic jacks fitted as standard.
Brilliant idea but the difficulty was getting them to retract once used.
