Are we sure there is adequate parking there? I just google earthed it and couldn't see an adjacent lump of tarmac. :-?

better than sadmog!

so where to this week then? how about the royal oak at frithum?

oh and does anyone have a couple of nuts + spring washers for the thermostat housing? seemed to have lost some bits in taking the mini apart. tonight I'm take the angle grinder to the inner wing cowling to get it all back together (if later cars do without it then so shall I in the name of easier maintainance)

A very plesant evening last night, sat out for the first drink as the sun set.

I know it is totally against tradition and possibly even the spirit of SADMOG.... but can I suggest a few pubs in advance.

I've checked the SADMOG email address and there are a few people expressing interest in coming along, so giving them some notice as to when and where we will be might help them in joining us one evening.

next week, can we go for our usual haunt of the empress as thats easy to find if they can come along.

August 21st, can I suggest The White Hart Old Romsey Road Cadnam, SO40 2NP thats just down the road from the empress, and the local Austin Healey club meets there on the same day. (fun to see some other cars)

Im off work next week, and as long as we arent out for the day (watch out Lego Land!!) I intend to come along. An early heads up ref the venue is helpful.
Regards, Mike
PS - I have something of interest for any SADMOG Mini Trav owners if any are interested... I'll bring it along
