Looks like you had a good turn out again last meet! :D  I haven't made any suggestions yet, because as previously mentioned, i do not know the area so do not know the pubs! :o I am happy to go with the suggestions of others, but in saying that i will be giving it a miss next meet as the Cricketers is a 70 mile round trip for me according to the routeplanner!! :o :o :(

We though that perhaps a pub on yours or Mikes door step for a change. After all if you both drive all that way its only fair thet we could do the same one evening ;-)

Lets stick with the Cricketers this week and perhaps we can come up with a pub near Ringwood next week?

Could I have directions to the Cricketer's? I think I'll be able to make it a bit further than 5 miles from my house this week :-)

The Hare & Hounds in Sway is apparently good, Mike :-)

Also consider:
Turfcutter's in East Boldre.
Oak Inn in Bank.
Three Tuns in Bransgore.

A bit further north:
Red Shoot, Linwood. This has a campsite next door :-)

Rob,
I enjoy the drive and as i am so far from the other SADMOG members i wouldn't feel right asking everyone to travel over to me so anywhere around junction 1 or 2 of the M27 is fine with me as it is still a fair drive for some of the other SADMOG's to get to there! I am more than happy to travel down Mike's way though if he has any suggestions? :D If the next meet after the Cricketers is west of Southampton then i shall be there and bring along all the bits promised to the appropriate people! :D

OK, Roll Call; who's coming tonight?
Dan,
Paul,
Me,
???

Carlo says it's too far and Mike can't make it.

I'm going to bring the camera to take pics of various flavours of airbox/carb/manifolds to see what different options there might be.

We are catching the 1.30PM ferry tomorrow afternoon. Not sure what time we will be in Southhampton before then- depends on the M25 traffic etc and M3. Hopefully about mid-day. There will be (approx) 3 travellers, 3 saloons ( and maybe a convertible) and in all probabillity a Ford Focus! (His Minor is in the garage being restored).

We tried to get in touch with the IOW branch but got no reply from their web e-mail.

Not likely, it's all very serious you know.

Conversation was a bit difficult this evening to be honest. It was hard to concentrate on what was being said while 'the pub singer' went through his renditions of Elvis, Bowie etc etc.
Still, the sound of three 1275 and one 1098 Minors starting up and spraying gravel should have put him in his place. 8)

lol

Especially when we all split up down different roads that actually came back on to the same road a little further along. I got pole position from that short cut last night ;-)
