Er that is a one way bit and you were going the wrong way.

Surprised the Heck out of me :D

It's not a one way road, all perfectly legal.

Take the road directly opposite the pub and follow to the end, turn right and then you're back on the main road to Botley 8)

Ahh I thought you'd gone down the little tee piece on the corner :)

Did you come past Silverlake or not that far down?

There was some vague idea of Mike or Carlo choosing somewhere down their end of the territory?

As previously posted, i wouldn't want you all to drive all the way out to me as i am a bit of an outsider to Southampton anyway! I am happy with anywhere in the M27 junction 1 or 2 area! :D

What about the Green Dragon at Brook? About a minute from J1 of the M27. Cracking place, a proper independent pub.

Unless Mike comes up with something near him?

I was thinking that the Green Dragon at Brook might fit the bill  ?

Is that the one that you drive past to get to the lamb? On the left hand side

That's the one. It's about a minute from the motorway.

If we can park out the front that would be nice. I could ring the landlord on thursday and ask him to keep the front clear? He might like having half-a-dozen Minors out the front - even yellow ones :-)

Good chat last night, and 6 Minors showed. Nice.

Since this thread is getting a little silly, what about trading email addresses and maybe phone numbers? Each week this thread gets longer with
"Where to this week" and 5 copies of "see you there"...

If you want, PM your email and mobile contacts and I'll sell your details to spammers. (Shurely "send round an email to everybody"?, Ed.)

Im happy to share e-mail and phone but its also nice to see the ever growing messages on this thread - perhaps Mr McWhirter might enter us into his illustrious book for the longest and most viewed thread on any message boad (with the word Sowf'ampton in it... )

Pete - did you get back alright last night with your "fuel problem"?

I wondered whether JoeMog made it back, but as I got a PM from Pete I guessed he made it to somebody's computer :-)

Maybe we could post the chosen pub here so that other folks could join us if they so wish, then add the photo afterwards.

I agree, it would be kind of fun to go for the "worlds longest discussion about which pub to go to". :-)

I'll go with that! PM on way. As Onne says, others enjoy following the thread, so details of where and the picture of the cars each week would be good as you have suggested. :D

Yes I got back fine thanks. I had to stop at the M/way services to get some fuel though!
