Minors in the Movies

Post by iandromiskin »

Just thought I'd throw a question to get people thinking, but I suspect many will know the answers anyway, but just for fun ..... The Morris Minor has appeared in many Tv and film productions over the years, but does anyone know of any ??

The only ones I remember are Open all Hours, Casualty, Eastenders, Lovejoy and the Da Vinci Code.

Any more ???

I can't seem to find it now but there was a thread a while back that contained a long list.

The movie Hear My Song is well worth watching, and not just because it features two guys driving across Ireland in a Traveller.

I extracted the Morris Minor subplot from Bad Taste and posted it on Google Video.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

'The Borrowers' with John Goodman must be what's Heaven is like. But how did that Oxford get in there?

Two Australian programs, 'Mother and Son' and ' A Country Practice'. In Mother and Son the main character Arthur had a black Series II convertible and Esme in a Country Practice had a black 2 door split screen I think.
Plenty of Moggies in 'Heartbeat'.
There is also a split second in the movie 'Bloody Sunday' when a Ferret Scout Car rolls past followed by a Moggie. Best scene in a movie ever!

There's a brief glimpse of one in "American Graffiti".

Remember Some Mother Do Have Em with Frank Spencer hanging over the cliff and the boot full of fertilizer, and of course the current almond green traveller always in shot in Eastenders!

Ferret I remember watching an episode of Country Practice when the moggy drove into the lake! Did you see that one?
