Re: North Norfolk Railway Day
We are currently rebuilding Hadrians Wall only this time the battlements face the other way round
Re: North Norfolk Railway Day
Oh dear ! It crosses our Railway - so I hope you build a tunnel for us ! Actually - I think that will be Antonine's wall - Hadrian was a good bit further south!!!!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonine_Wall

Re: North Norfolk Railway Day
I know - and to my shame! I didn't read any of the National stuff - because I assumed it would be far far away. I only picked up on it when my mate in Ilkley commented to me that he seen a lot of Minors buzzing around. Next time it's in Harewood I will try to attend - if he still has his house in Ilkley. Which he may not - his new girlfriend lives in Glasgow..........

Re: North Norfolk Railway Day
Read a statistic (yea I know lies etc) that more cars go north over the border than go south. Where are you all hiding?
Re: North Norfolk Railway Day
I never ever use the M74 to travel any distance - the 'old road' (A74 as was - but now a B listed road) is much better fun - deserted, open, scenic - and no cops around............. All the way to/from Gretna. Just need to watch out for the 100+ mph motorbikes!
