worcester combi boiler

Post by win »

The text display on my Worcester Greenstar HE PLUS COMBI 2WR 11-35 HE, is now blank.
The number is No 8-747-208-103. There is a 20 volt supply from the boiler to it.
I know it is a long shot, but can any one offer any replacement, or help.
I can find a new one, but they are very expensive, but isn't everything.

Regards Win

Hi thanks for that, yes that looks a good option, if I cannot get the correct one,
better than just switching it on and off, as I am doing at the moment.

Thanks and regards Win

without looking for part numbers i assume you mean the plug in timeclock on the front middle of the boiler you can unplug throw away and replace with an external programmer , i usually fit a horstman HRFS1 wireless programmer/thermostat from screwfix part no 93829 approx £50 much cheaper than the worcester plug in part at £260 . have you actually tried turning off again waiting 5 mins and turning back on
