Now come on lads, lets get real. This car has done LESS THAN 30000 MILES! it is LOW MILEAGE! its registration number is worth the price! it is a trader selling it so they MUST BE RIGHT! I am getting OLD AND CYNICAL!

Can you ascertain if the plate is transferable without the paperwork?

No paperwork; not on dvla computer; no mot; serious rot......good luck in transferring the number.... :D

if vehicle is registered to you and out of mot up to a year you can transfer number plate , if it is over a year without mot it requires testing to transfer the plate.

who is the club member that has informed them of the details because surely they would have also given them an estimated value
