Well, here's my starter for ten:-

Just tonight, the H of C, as I understand it, has voted numerous times, not to leave the EU without a deal...….but the one (and only) deal that was on the table, has already been overwhelmingly rejected TWICE. How does that work then? Ok, only a rhetorical question!

…….tune in for tomorrow's next exiting episode. I do hope there's going to be an omnibus edition on ITV 2 at the weekend (with signing and sub-titles) 'cos I can't keep up!

If only we had someone who was the political equivalent of Alec Issigonis - i.e. someone who could create something, simple, easy to understand, was popular, had mass appeal and actually worked very well.

Coincidentally, I read that Katherine Helmond who played Jessica Tate in 'Soap' died recently; as the introduction to that programme used to say, "Confused? You won't be when you watch the next episode...". Well, we'll see. 8)

I’ve still got a radio cassette, that came out of the car I sold to make way for the Traveller (It’s one where you can remove it easily when you leave the car, though I doubt anyone would want to steal a radio cassette any more) but I’ve just not got around to fitting it.

My MG Midget has a Sharpe radio cassette and it was one of the first where you could remove part of it, when leaving the car, to make it useless. Until I bought a radio/MP3 player (You plug in a memory stick), to go in the MG V8, it was the only car radio I had actually bought (The others all came with cars or were given to me). I seem to have missed out CD players in cars.

As to what I think suits a Minor, that’s only my opinion but I tend to think of a Minor as a car suited to middle of the road 1950s music……Jimmy Young, perhaps the theme from a Summer Place or even the Ivor Novello war time hit, We’ll gather lilacs. I don’t say this with any intent to convey a fuddy duddy image or imply that there is anything remotely wrong with those tunes and if someone wishes to go around like Wesley Pegden, fine. Now, how long is it since I played that Derek and the Dominos single????

I don't own a Minor currently (In the process of purchasing my first), but I do however have a playlist for the Minor, I mainly listen to The Beatles
with it being music of the era and the fact that I'm
a massive Beatles fan, I also play Oasis, Blur and Van Halen from time to time

Just been to see 'Yesterday'.

A very good film - puts Lowestoft on the map & especially the Pier Inn.

As regards the best sort of music to play in a Moggie, I honestly believe that anything is suitable, provided it's in a minor key. 8)
