Post by martin418 »

i have just purchased an A series 950cc diesel engine for a rebuild , i thought it would be an interesting project and given my love of stationary engines something a bit unusual and its a bmc product so is in the family to speak ,

Just been reading about A series diesels in the Austin A30 club magazine. A number of cars, including Minors, seem to have had them retrofitted.

Quite a rare find nowadays. Stationary is the best way to leave it. Don't be tempted to fit it into a Morris Minor - or anything else which is required to travel along a road

Haha. Just as long as you know
It would be a lot of work to convert your car before you found that out :o
