Identify clock

Post by ian.mcdougall »

Hi
Would anyone know what car this clock comes from.I was going to use it to make a Series MM clock clock, it is similar to a MO clock the other clock with it is a MO clock and has smaller windows in the base ans a shorter hand set cable . the face is quite attractive and i wonder if rare enough would it be better to sell as is to the right car owner or would it look out of place on a Series MM

That is a late interior MO clock. They are not valuable.

That is a cable to adjust the hands when it is mounted in the dash and would stick down under the dash

My dash clock didn't come from an MM but you would have to look hard to notice it wasn't genuine!
I think similar clocks were fitted to some BMC vehicles of similar vintage and believe that's where mine came from. I did some post's on it when it was installed.
