Barbers

Post by SteveClem »

I feel really sorry for them. Lots of us old chaps used to go for a cheap trim and a chat every couple of months.
Now we’ve all bought clippers and have wives/ partners grooming
our receding locks.
She does a great job, not sure if I’ll go back to the barbers..

My Mrs has done mine since the mid 80s.
I've got a Wahl Clipper with a Bakelite body, last time I got blades for it about 8 years ago, turned out the Pt No blades required are only intended for the 'Pet Groomer' model because they make so many different models now...

Plenty of youngsters want their posh grooming, rather than the Barber...

Do my own - Lidl clippers, number 3 over the top, number 2 up sides/back.
Even the missus thinks it looks ok!

I did mine in the last lockdown/lockup, I thought it was ok but it probably wasn’t.
