As a Formula 1 fan since the early 1990s, I just wanted to pay tribute to the great Murray Walker. A man who commentated with such passion, with an instantly recognisable voice. I have no doubt his passion got many (myself included) hooked on the sport he loved.
Very sad to hear of his passing aged 97.
Rest in peace Murray.

The passing of an icon.
If you can find a copy - Murray's motorsport spectacular 1998 video is worth a view.

Re: Murray Walker
Thanks for the tip, just got one on eBay “like new” for £1.99. Finding a VHS player to watch it on might prove rather more tricky though!

Thinning out my book collection last week, acting on the theory, less is more, I came across —- ‘If I’m not very much mistaken’ His autobiography.
