Re: Can these be saved
Simply rehone the bores and away you go!
As an aside, they would be a bit heavy to just 'wash up' on the beach surely.....
I wonder where / what they came from and how old they are?
Best wishes,
Mike.

Never underestimate the power of the sea, it can move things many times heavier than those bits.
They might have been in a wooden boat that was abandoned and then rotted or broke up and floated off in pieces. It's not unknown for old engines to be used as anchors for moorings. Perhaps they were washed out from a flooded river? On a less realistic level, there must be many possible fun explanations as to why they are there.

Seems clear to me - it's obviously all that's left of James Bond's Lotus Esprit.

Top photo looks similar to a Lancia V4 block...

You may be nearer the truth than you realise there.............Seems clear to me - it's obviously all that's left of James Bond's Lotus Esprit.

Re: Can these be saved
A fellow number cruncher sent me wartime pic of his family, in the background, the "Tirpitz" in all her glory.
Still bits of her lying about on the shore.

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!
