66 traveller 13 inch allys ,peco exhaulst , austin healy engine (only 1275) tinted windows twin carb soon to be changed to a nikki carb ,

Sounds like you should be in this class Chris, I'd have to double check Healey production dates but I'm fairly sure it's the same period.

The sprite stopped production in 1971 if thats any help Lee, but the 13" alloys wont it depend on what they are from ?

ah the Austin Healey Sprite stopped in '71 then there was an Austin Sprite for about 6 months, and the Midget continued to use exactly the same engine until '74. There isn't really any way to see if the engine came out of a sprite or midget originally. The Engine would have been put in a car between '67 and '74.

You are correct Matt, the Healey was built from 1954 to 1971 and the Midget stopped production in 1974. But as the engine remained the same it's impossible to tell engine manufacture date without lots of research therefore it would be classed as a period engine.
