Mine and my friend modified Mogs :)
Hi. Me and my m8 are both building modified Mogs. Mine is just a rover V8 3.5 running a turbo.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
And my friend has made something that excites me and scares me at the same time!
Its a mog, running a TVR V8 4L, Twin Turbo, injection, and just to add to the fun, nitro.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]

I'm following the build elsewhere - keep up the good work.

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

Re: Mine and my friend modified Mogs :)
The van was for a standard build. Better than letting them rot away.
At the end of the day we are putting cars on the road. You have a back garden full of trees that were once vans, and could have been people's pride and joys. And your front garden has 3 vans almost in the same state. You say your restoring them, but in the 2 years I haven't been round they have got a lot worse.... Soon there will be nothing worth saving!
Don't stand there judging us when you have about 10 vans wasting away!
Look at your self dude!

There is a place for modifying and custom minors as there is a place for standard vehicles, and yes its a shame to have them sat there rotting away... surely they should be saved no matter how they become, atleast they would LIVE AGAIN... purists will not like modifying or custom, but there is also a lot more skill gone into restoring them then standard vehicles... everyone to there own I say! So enjoy them!

Given away THREE so far, a further TWO to be dug out for someone, mate
is restoring another - helping him last w/e - and doing the o/s/f suspension
of another this week.
3 are in garages, 1 in OUR garage, 1 under a cover...leaving just 2 outside
doing nothing!
May shortly have another ex-PO Telephone van coming, so need to have a good
sort out!!

Re: Mine and my friend modified Mogs :)
Its funny, i havent been on this forum in over two years due to people going off topic, bickering and snipping at modified moggies and their owners.
Im told all is good now and everyone is excepted and everyone gets along nicely! yeah, seems that way! What a shame!
Recon ill be staying on just the OTHER forum, i just hope foofoournan creates a build thread there aswell Anything V8 gets my interest

Re: Mine and my friend modified Mogs :)
foofournan any chance of pics of your engine setup?I have a '54 Wolseley 4/44 with the SD1 V8 and box and I'm just about ready to start on tidying the engine bay. What do you have for crankcase breathing?Previous owner of mine just left the OS rocker cover open and a pipe affair coming from the NS cover. It all looks pretty poor.
Cheers
