BMC tweed grey was a mini colour, looks good with raw carbon and black, my accent colours. The comms are from military chopper pilots, Racal RA 155 Atlantic headset, need to replug because they use peltor or nexus plugs. One they are expensive and two everything else is 1/4inch jack. Com pack is a gutted terratrip, I am reboxing and hiding cable routing.

Tweed grey. Pretty popular Austin colour. Used widely across their passenger car and light commercial ranges from 1955-ish onwards.
I had a two-tone '58 Tweed grey / Court grey A55 Mk.1 Cambridge for several years. My mate (slightly colour blind) insisted it was green and white :D

Today was a good day as they say, finished all the front chassis rails, the chassis strengthens and cross rail as per JOHN Beardmore design, slowly working back. Have bought a new toy a Cut50 plasma cutter, buy one they are quiet and really easy to use, I reckon I’ve spent at least £50in cutters over the last 6 months.

Lots of welding, a new complete leg, and both strengthen boxes either of engine, still to do top baulkhead panel, straitened out the Jenny roller with a new guide, should prevent any wayward movements. Also under gone mods are the Sandblaster, new lights, full caulk, gravity feed gun, fixed cabling and new cyclone extractor. Really need and justifiying a English wheel and a hydraulic plansiher. Enjoy

I do like a bit of organisation, old tools on new stand, saves dragging to the bench vice all the time, Jenny roller and sheet folder sharing a stand, back bench sorted, and prepped stove for the coming winter.

Having the day off, really pleased with how things are panning out. Started to build a nuematic planisher, finished my Jenny roller/folder stand. The media blaster works a treat, and I can see the what I’m blasting. Finished most of the rear strength Inf prep too, very happy with how the portable hydraulic press is working too, think a bench one would be even quicker!, most of the photos are the plates to strengthen the rear axle, panhard rods and four bar link, enjoy

Whilst it is good to have an organised workshop I personally would be reluctant to tell and show the whole world what I have.

Just shows how different we all are, some let it all hang out, others, like me, won't open the garage doors if there's someone about! I'm quite organised but you'll have to take my word for it!! :D. Nice project though.
