Excellent start of a project, but why not start your own restoration thread as others have done, rather than put it in the thread about the restoration section? More people are likely to see it. :)

As myson has just turned 18 the car is now in the garage awaiting an MOT to become his first car,a little work remains afterwards but he is looking forward to being on the road. The car has been off the road for a number of years so it will be great to see it being used again.Pictures to follow.

starting a 1959 convertible in the states. So far the biggest problem is the language, apparently, I do not speak English but I am learning. as soon as I figure to resize my photo I will send pic's

Building a 1958 MM 1000 2dr. The biggest problem l have had is no wrenches either metric or American fit the bolts. Are those called Whitworth or something? My Morris has a 1980 Chevette drive train. Will post pictures if I can figure out how.

For a 1958 Morris 1000 Whitworth bolt heads / British Standard Fine (BSF) threads on the suspension / body parts and Unified National Fine (UNF) threads on the engine / transmission parts with Across Flats (A/F) heads

i.e. .................5/16" UNF threaded bolt has a 1/2" A/F head.

A 1958 Morris 1000 does not have Metric bolts or threads.

The starter dog and rocker adjustment screws have American Unified National Special (UNS) threads with AF heads/nuts.
