My MM 52'
This is my first Morris Minnor, she's called Precious
She goes so I'm not sure if she's actually counted as a restoration in which case I'm sorry but I just had to show her off and ask a couple of questions too.
Is this her first colour? I'm really not sure cause the metal in the inside of the car is also this car.[frame][/frame]

Are those bell-shaped red things the horns? Now I've seen everything!
You have a beautiful car, Precious! Or rather Precious is a beautiful car. Do you mind if I ask where you're from? I can't identify that license plate. It's fine, of course, if you don't want to say; there are lots of folks on the 'board who don't.
Just another question:
Happy motoring and exploring in Precious!

What exactly does that mean? I can't for the life of me figure out how that works grammatically.I'm really not sure cause the metal in the inside of the car is also this car.

The way to a man's heart may be making food, but the way to my heart is buying me car parts!
Come read about my Minor at An American Moggie.

Oh oops silly me. What I was trying to say that the metal parts on the inside of the car are the same colour as the outside of the car.
Yes they are air horns (that I didn't put in myself lol) they don't play a tune of such but my god they are loud. Which isn't very nice when your doing a tight turn and hit the horn by mistake.
I live in Tasmania, Australia so lots of lovely country roads to take her out on.
So there's a couple of things I wanna do/fix.
The first one is the switch for the indecators is on the top of the dash board and at the moment there is just a bolt sticking out of the switch. I was wondering what sort of swith would it had in the day? I want to keep as much of the car as true as possiable.
Would it be out of place if I was going to put a stearign wheel mounted switch in her?
Also I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to hook up the semaphores on my car?
Cheers muchly
Sarah

That is a lovely car you have there. Very nice. I like the colour. The nice weather you have over there must help preserve the bodywork.
By the way, what engine is fitted to it?? I understand in Australia, the use of Nissan and Toyota engines is quite a common modification.

My first guess was a shade of grey, white will help reflect the sun and is a better choice for where you live.
Some kind of solar window film might be a good plan too.
It looks a really tidy usable car.
