The only thing I would change (and I am in no way saying you have done the job wrong) is that I would have trimmed the floor and outer under floor panels so they could be butt welded making the floor one piece as from the factory. That would eliminate the over lap next to the inner sill step and remove a really bad rust trap.

Hi there,then I removed what was left of the floor and sill panels I couldn't make head or tail of where the new panels went, it took me a good half an hour to puzzle it together , iv never worked on a minor before and I assumed the panels I bought overlap !! It's good to know though ,and I think il do it differently on the passenger side, thanks for the info

This is the up right panel which is under the rear seat ,welds to the floor and up and over the tunnel,I'm hoping to weld it in soon.[frame][/frame]

I now have all the panel work to finish the shell, including chassis legs floor sills spring hangers rear arches, how I need to find time to get her done[frame][/frame]

Also I've fitted the driver door .im needing a spacer (around 1 mm ) on the bottom hinge to make it fit .[frame][/frame]

I haven't completely finished the sills on this side yet. As I want to make sure the sill finisher fits well, and the quarter panel repair section .i just need to order the finish to complete it .

Next , I removed the drivers side dome arch . With the old flitch in place. Using a spot weld drill bit, cutting tools and then sanded down the edges ready to spray weld through primer on .[frame][/frame]

The new one doesn't seem to fit to well but I managed to get fitting ok[frame][/frame]

I plug welded this on them used a belt sander to sand the welds down, then I etch primed it.[frame][/frame]

I haven't welded the arch to the flitch as I'm fitting a new flitch
