I bolted the bumper beam on to make sure I had the bumper bracket in the correct place.

I think a got abit carried away with the cutting today, I removed the piller cover and the door dropped about 2cm . But I've bought a new full piller anyway as it will give me a chance to clean up behind the main flitch panel when I remove the remainder of it[frame]Image[/frame]

Il have to remove the door , get rid of the old piller and flitch . Give it a good clean up. Then fit the flitch using screws then fit the piller using screws and then try the door on again and if the door fits good il fit the wing.i think this bit is going to take a bit of time to do. One question, what's an average quarter panel to door gap ? And door to wing gap ? Is it between 4mm to around 6mm ?[frame]Image[/frame]

I just tacked the piller in in a few places to fit the door and wing .the gap to the quarter panel is about 3 to 4 mm . Which isn't fully accurate as the piller has a bit of flex to it due to the outer cover not been fitted yet .i fitted the wing (new one) it seems to fit ok .but I'm not happy that it sticks out at the top .im not sure what to do with it ?[frame]Image[/frame]

I had the same issue with Hadrian front wings. After massaging the top curve with the bolts loose to bring it down and then clamping in position (while ensuring the the wing still lined up with the sill finisher etc) I still had to skim the tops of the doors to level the gap.

Finally back on the forum! I'm glad they managed to save our posts. It's a shame there are no photos . Hopefully they will come back soon as I was kinda hoping to use the site as a project log . Anyway today iv kinda sorted out the piller . The door fits fine but the wing is needing a bit of messing with. Hopfully the pics will come up of the piller !! ............ok that doesn't work . Looks like sending a pic from an iPhone no longer works on here :x

Now the picture problem I had . To down load a pic from an iPhone or tablet. I uploaded the pics to Facebook then saved the pics on Facebook onto my phone then used my phone to upload them onto here .apparently Facebook down scales the photos automatically !

Iv managed to make the rear part of the drivers side floor , and weld it in . Looks a bit messy , I was rushing as I had a problem with the pipe coming off the gas bottle . It was leaking,
